William of Orange is a pop flavored EP from Washington D.C.'s The Caribbean. The music is quite pleasant and easy to digest with pop melodies afloat. The whole premise is to present the new style of this band, who by the way have been around for a few years with a previous EP and full-length under their belt. Breezy, relaxed pop might be a perfect descriptor for The Caribbean's EP. The second track even borders on a psychedelic sound with some pretty neat instrumentation. I really like Michael Kentoff's vocals. They are perfect mach for the mellow pop style of the band.
The marketing is done quite well too. Inside the cardboard packaging is what looks like a tax form. The tear sheets also maintained that feel and their website is a rip off of the standard corporate website, no fun flash site for The Caribbean. Good work.
