Bullet Train to Vegas is a bit of a refreshing listen in the hardcore world. They borrow their influences from the right places (Refused, Blood Brothers) without actually ripping anyone off. I even hear some (International) Noise Conspiracy influence at play on "This Beds Meant For Two". Frontman Dan Sena shut the doors on his previous bands (Adamantium and Give Until Gone) and proceeded to look for that next chapter. It's obvious that he's found some magic with this line-up and this band. At least on album, Bullet is a tight band with some pretty slick time changes and dynamic elements happening. Producer Alex Newport has done another bang up job. We Put Scissors is a sonic assault that, if not prepared, can really grate on the unsuspecting's ears. After the 11 songs pass you by in about 30 minutes you are left reeling. The songs tend to seem a little similar but with the brief playtime of the album you hardly notice. I think Bullet Train To Vegas will be an underground success and kudos to Fearless for taking a chance on them.
