RecommendThe Trance Lounge is a nice compilation to dance into the wee hours of the morning with. While there isn’t really anything cutting edge on here, it is a nice variation of the norm. I don’t recognize any of the artists that LaJava has decided to throw on this album but I will list some off; Sunscreem, Velvet Girl, Walky Talky, Joker Jam, Meridian, and Blue Alphabet just touch on the producers included on the Trance Lounge. It is mostly progressive trance that was compiled by Europe’s Bonzai Records who have been leaders in Trance and Techno for the past ten years. The album is fairly relaxing and yet still fairly upbeat. I see it fitting into a more hip nightclub or even a posh retail clothing store as background music.
