This new Montreal-based instrumental rock band borrow a lot from different bands from the area to make up something with a bit of mixed results. Les Angles Morts tends to create music that can either completely please or completely annoy. For me I found it to be the latter and searched for something to enjoy in the music. The opening track is called "What's Real Summer" and it tends to come off a little esoteric. The rest of the album did the same for me. But this is going to be one of those albums where some people will dive right into and fully enjoy. It has those elements of chaos that is just slightly contained that given time might actually sooth rather than grate on one's nerves.
