The label 2Wars came about 5 years to late. Their main focus, as showcased by their main bands Incredible Melting Man and DJ Scissorkicks, is bigbeat ala Fatboy Slim and Chemical Brothers. While Slim and the Brothers are still enjoy some charting it is a known fact that big beat has almost worn itself out. That’s not to say that there isn’t any good big beat being made anymore. Quite the contrary as shown by this superb slamming compilation. The beats on their anniversary compilation are bold and demand the head to assume the nodding momentum. There are jazzy breaks and cool samples. I rarely found myself bored or not bouncing in my seat. Find out why the big boy DJ’s like Carl Cox, DJ Dan, and Donald Glaude are spinning 2Wars material. It rocks heavy and gets the dancefloor shaking. Big Beat may not be much on the charts anymore but it doesn’t mean that it can’t move a party.
