RecommendA voice so fraglie, it sneaks in the door of any cynicism and scares it with its honesty. Sounding like a child left in the rain, Caroline's "Where's My Love?" hits the ear as a slight, precious ditty and unwinds into this almost profound meditation on loss. Less successful is her remix of the tune, which seems somehow too personal to be mixed into a dance track. The other song on the ep, "The Swells", is another moody, emotionally naked track that makes you wonder how more open she will become with maturity. Apparently Caroline was discovered after having sent a demo to MySpace. Angels are everywhere, and she is one of them.
