Magnet - Fall At Your Feet (single)
Love struck longing is conveyed through crisply captivating vocals and stammering guitars to help re-iterate the points made by the Bergen born Even Johansen, who is the voice behind Magnet. Having recently been guests of Athlete on their U.K. tour by special request; Magnet utilises calming early days Tim Burgess meets Neil Finn vocals to breath-taking effect. 'Fall At Your Feet' is a gripping extraction from the recently released 'Tourniquet' album.
Even Johansen, during his colourful life has spent a year in Bristol that seems to have provided him with some backbone. This is borne out in B-side; 'This Bird Can Never Fly' via downbeat lyrics juxtaposed by a springing and varied accompaniment. Magnet is currently attracting a good deal of attention, for displaying powerfully emotive song-writing prowess and this single will not buck that trend.
