Aqueduct - I Sold Gold
Aqueduct is probably quite bitter at this point. Bitter at the fact that Postal Service managed to take their sound and become quite successful at it. It's that electro-pop sound thing that Aqueduct does so fine. The songs sound immature but damn they are catchy with their programmed drums and synths and different instrumentation. I Sold Gold is my first exposure to David Terry's project but I'm glad I finally caught on to his infectious pop. Seriously though, there are times you do wonder about David and in such geekfests as "Tension". It's a catchy synthpop song but you can't help but envision a music geek in his bedroom creating this track. That vision aside, I do like what I hear from Aqueduct and highly recommend I Sold Gold.
