Fearless brings us this powerful emo band that actually takes some leads from some classic metal bands. The Fully Down is a new signing to Fearless by way of Ottawa Ontario. There was plenty of talk about this band after they managed to get on the Warped Tour bill. They released a self-produced EP, No Fate...But What We Make For Ourselves and people started to pay attention. Don't Get Lost In A Moment is The Fully Down's debut full-length and if you get over the emo label that goes along with the band you should be treated with a healthy dose of pop/punk with a dose of 80s metal for good measure. There are times when I can't help but think of an Iron Maiden riff here and there. The band does possess three guitarists which does get a little overwhelming with all the riffs flying at you, one after another. It's the melodic vocals that holds the listener tight and will keep them coming back for more. I have a feeling that The Fully Down may just get lost in the shuffle of similarity but there is something on Moment that should appeal to most pop/punk fans.
