The Fullblast is a band from Ontario that is set to make some waves in the emo/punk arena. They've been around since 2000 providing them with a very tight band (on album anyway). While not really bringing anything new to the emo/punk thing, they do bring some pretty heavy energy. In fact, they are probably the tightest and fastest band I have heard that are still capable of keeping the listenable harmonies going. No dual vocals here. In fact Ian Stanger's vocals are one of the Fullblast's big positives. He manages to get the emotion out and still seem like he's relevant. They have already released a full-length album on their own, Short Controlled Bursts is their first for Dine Alone Records and the first with some serious media coverage. I would recommend this album for any fan of bands like Alexisonfire. It should be right up your alley.
