For Tricky's first release on his new label, Durban Poison, he presents us The Baby Namboos. Not much of a suprise for Tricky as it is quite similar to his own material. He even appears on a couple of tracks. The brains behind the Namboos is Mark Porter (Tricky's cousin). He found Leo Coleing and Aurora Borealis to trade off vocal duties whenever there was no guest vocalist. The collective exudes an air of confidence most likely due to having the guidance of Tricky in the studio. The end result is a great Bristol sounding trip hop album that Tricky fans will love.
