Bracket is turning into one of the most consistent punk bands going right now and Fat Wreck know they are lucky to have them on their roster. This is a punk band that conforms strictly to Fat Wreck’s style of melodic punk rock. Sure, they can play speed riffs right along with the best of them but Bracket is about fusing punk and melody into something that is enjoyable for more people than punk should be. With Fat Wreck Chords Live in a Dive series we get a chance to hear what this talented band is capable of in a live and intimate setting. When a band like Bracket can pull of this quality of a live recording the talent is brought to the forefront. The band rips through 17 of their favorite tracks diving into the odd obscurity but mainly sticking to their album material. Bracket have great live banter and can get an audience going pretty easily. The CD also contains a couple of videos and the liner is actually a comic book featuring Bracket as superheroes.
