This band sound like it would fit right into the New York hardcore / punk scene so it's hard to imagine that they are from France. Yup, a punk band from France and man, are they hot! In 1998 they signed a European contract with Epitaph to be distributed to every country in Europe. Now it's their time to make a splash here in North America. We can thank Victory Records for this pleasure. Escape was produced by legendary producer, Jack Endino, most famous for his work with Nirvana, and you can feel his power in the awesome production work on the album. The music is a bit of a throwback into some older punk stylings but they add a flair that keeps it relevant. The French band has crafted 15 in your face punk tracks for your enjoyment. The track "B@bylone by Skate" is a cool reggae tinged song not unlike the Clash. They manage to inject catchy melodies inot most of the tracks. As well they have included a great animated video for "Wise Guy" and another video for "A Bitter Taste".
