The Dropkick Murphy's blatantly kick right in the ass with this, their second release for Hellcat. They take the energy from Irish folk music and inject it with a fine dose of punk in order to come up with a deadly concoction. Suppose the Sex Pistols kicked out Johnny Rotten in favour of Shane MacGowan. If you like your punk politically infused and yet still able to maintain the fun and energy punk's all about then you would dig this album. This is the first I have heard from the Murphy's and it has led me to the pub to grab a pint of Guinness. And it comes complete with a punked out version of Amazing Grace and yes, it is possible (and good too).
