RecommendTwo of today's up and coming punk/pop/rock artists team up on this cool split ep. First 3 tracks are courtesy of Orange County's very own Gameface. Gameface are more pop than punk in the style of Goo Goo Dolls back in the day. The great track "How Far Is Goodbye?" starts off their offering and the finish their bit with a Tom Petty cover, "Change Of Heart' followed by a silly recording of a phone call of some intoxicated dude at a party. Next up is one of my favs, Errortype:11. They are a little heavier than Gameface but still fit into the same genre. Their tracks offered are the very cool "Ticket to ride" and their cover of choice is Split Enz's "I Got You". This is a great intro to both bands and promises us that they will keep us entertained for some time.
