Kreucht and Fleucht is a techno mixed album from German DJ Dominik Eulberg. This is a different kind of techno than I was used to. A lot more minimalistic and bare than the typical in-your-face style. It's one of those mixes where 5 songs pass and it hardly seems like the song has changed. Brilliant remixing and song selection. The first of the two albums is a little mellower while the second is slightly harder hitting. None of the artists that are on the compilation are familiar to me except for System 7. Names include Alex Smoke, Chaton + Hopen, Dub Kult, Slam, Rocco Branco, Triola, Termiten, and Sergej Auto to name just a few. If you find yourself scratching your head after the first two songs then chances are you probably won't care for the rest of Kreucht and Fleucht. It represents a lot of the more creative and newer techno artists in Europe right. This album sure made me aware of how much great European music I'm missing out on.
