Garrison has a sound that is totally refreshing. They are hard (if not impossible) to pigeonhole which means they are pushing boundaries. The closest band I can even think of that sound like Garrison would be Sunny Day Real Estate but Garrison is so much more. Where SDRE get all emotional Garrison gets angry. Already having played with bands like Boy Sets Fire, Farside and Death By Stereo they are well seasoned and have eager fans awaiting this first full length album. The songs, for the most part, have an escape/overcome theme. This is totally relevant with the breakthrough sound that they have. This is a band to watch for.
