RecommendIt’s not very often that you see a hardcore band with girls in it, let alone just two of them. That’s what The Haggard is all about, angry punk styled hardcore. And they do it louder and more aggressive than lots of guys out there. It helps that The Haggard are angry lesbians that like politics and motorbikes. Yes, there are just two of them too. Emily B. Kingan plays guitar and sts plays the drums and they both take turns screaming into the microphone. They would almost sound at home on New York’s Equal Vision label but they are probably more comfortable on Mr. Lady. You may recognize the name sts from other girl bands like Cadallaca and the Lookers. It is refreshing to see women in this genre.
