Formed during the Reagan/Bush years, and still raging against many of the same people who are still under every rock in Washington doing all they can to hold on top power, Final Conflict have never wavered from their commitment to tolerance and non-agression. That their messages of peace come wrapped in some of the more brutal old school hardcore is a comforting sign. They have the balls to speak their mind, and in songs like “Remember Vietnam”, “ Save Yourself”, and “Death toll”, remind us that standing up for one’s beliefs takes guts. Their music is human and honest, and they share rather than preach. “Where’s The Threat”“ Guns Forever” and “Born Again” are also in a sense sad songs. They rage against the same hypocrisy and greed that hardcore spoke out against 20 years ago; the same ugly ideas are still here, but, as Final Conflict show, so is a resistance that doesn’t mind exposing the same bullshit over and opver until someone wakes up.
