RecommendMore punks in love and this time its Japan’s Hi-Standard. No, the Pat Benetar song of the same name is not included on here but there is a cover of Elvis’ “Can’t Help Falling In Love�. The problem with punk EP’s is that they’re over before you have even begun. This EP is done in a brief 8 minutes and by the time you listen to it 4 times it has become tired. Hi-Standard is a very high quality punk band but in order fully appreciate a band like this you need a full-length album. They have learned from the likes of NOFX how to harmonize to no end. These are songs that should have waited until the band was ready to do another complete album.
