Latterman's album, Turn Up The Punk..., was a good introduction to the band but I felt that these boys had a lot more in them. No Matter Where We Go... is the Long Island band's sophomore album and it is a notch up from their previous album. The songs are catchy, reminding me a lot of one of my favorite older punk bands, Face To Face. The music is aggressive but the focus here is melody and the guitar riffs are catchy as hell. The songs are written so you remember them for hours after listening. The vocals aren't perfect but remember, this is punk. I haven't heard punk of this calibre for a while. Two songs I would have dropped to make this a better listen: "My Bedroom Is Like For Artists", and "I Wish Branca Was Here". They don't add much to the whole mix. The nice thing with Latterman is that all there songs have a positive vibe to them. Check these boys out. They are going to be one of the punk world's shining future. Hardcore crew, you might want to stay away. There is too much melody going on here for you.
