In November of 2003, The Fall Of Troy released their first full length self titled album through Lujo Records . In August of 2006, after a largely glorified response to their follow-up album, Doppelganger., their first LP made a comeback as an EVR re-issue.
This disc starts off strong with Rockstar Nailbomb!, which is one of my personal favorites. The intro, has just the right combination of screaming, guitar and amazing drum parts. Then it movies into songs like Mouths Like Sidewinder Missiles, another great track with its melodic harmony and upbeat tempo. Mouths Like Sidewinder Missiles, along with F.C.P.S.I.T.S.G.E.P.G.E.P.G.E.P. and I Just Got This Symphony Goin are three songs which made the cut to their follow-up album, and EVR debut two years later.
The song titled The Adventures Of Allan Gordon is a very special song. Most of the time if a song is taking too long to get to the point -as far as lyrics go-, chances are I just don't have the patience. In this particular song, it's over a minute and a half until there is a word spoken, yet that is how good the song really is that I could not bring myself to flip the forward button. It's worth mentioning, this album was made in just one week, when most of the members were barely 17 years of age. With that said, I think we can all expect some great things from these guys.

I saw dan talking about these guys somewhere, giving them good praise so I had to check them out. This is one spastic album, hardcore-jazz-screamo fusion, really strange but strangely satisfying. "Rockstar Nailbomb" is brilliant.

I was happy that the Fall of Troy decided to make this album a re-issue. Even though i own both copies of this CD, i think they are both fantastic. The song 'Reassurance Rests In The Sea' makes me loose control and rock out every time i listen to it, you really cant help it. If you first listened to the Fall of Troy, you would probably ask yourself 'what the f**k is this?' but you must listen very carefully to hear the beauty within the notes being played. I would defintiely pick this album up, no matter who you are, easily the real culprit for the Fall of Troy's blow up with Doppleganger.

VEry nicely done Kevo! While this album is a little over the edge its very impressive due to their lack of experience.
