RecommendKill Your Idols is a hardcore punk band that ignores almost everything that has happened in the past 10 years and are plugging away. Their sound is nothing original but they are a band that knows what they know and know it well. They have catchy guitars and pretty cool riffs going on all while vocalist Andy screams along in classic hardcore fashion. Kill Your Idols is a very fast and heavy dose of aggressive hardcore that still knows how to incorporate a killer riff into angst-ridden music. This album is definitely not for the light-hearted or the melodic punk fan. Blink 182 fans would be completely eaten alive by this band. In a world of commercial punk, Kill Your Idols proves that punk is not dead and reminds us that punk and hardcore is about letting out your aggressions, not crowing about lost girlfriends.
