The comedians of the punk rock world are back with another slice (pun intended) of humorous music. This time around they take the piss out of Jenna Bush (“Jenna Bush Army) “Mr. Spock, “Nervous Breakdown’s and many more topics. While Nerf Herder’s music isn’t all that original but the lyrics is what keeps fans coming back for more. The fact is that Nerf Herder know the perfect formula for mixing pop and punk to come up with songs as catchy as Weezer. These guys make Blink-182 seem tame. In order to appreciate Nerf Herder, you must sit back and listen with a sense of humor and the knowledge that this is just a form of pop. It’s not hardcore, so those of you who are looking for a Snapcase album, look elsewhere. These guys are about catching you with hooks and making you stay with the humorous lyrics. “Jenna Bush Army / I don’t care who blows up the world / I only care about that girl / men of america, storm that election / when in doubt, follow your erection. And my favorite is “Defending The Faith where they sing about metal and such things as the Headbangers Ball and six string lasers. Not for everyone but anyone with a great sense of humor will find Nerf Herder amusing.
