It had to happen didn't it? Somebody or in this case four attentive New Yorkers were going to notice that the popularity of gigs that draw in the "too cool for school" crew, means simply that many "People Don't Dance No More'. What better band or way to highlight this injustice than with a funky and fuzzy musical crescendo. Luke Jenners' terse vocals blend in almost as another instrument to push your body in directions that ain't on a standard compass. They even slow their beats down at times, from their customary disco sound, to give you the chance to slowly gyrate and learn that it isn't too bad after all. The Rapture's music is as necessary as a tequila spiked punch at a party.
