NOFX, when you talk of California punk you wouldn’t be hard pressed to find this band on almost everyone’s mind. Yup, Fat Mike and the boys have clocked in almost 20 years of punk rock as the notorious NOFX and they show no signs of giving it up. In the words of NOFX, they decided to culminate all the crappy songs that never made any official release. I have to tell you about the first time I ever heard NOFX. It was back in about 1993 when they played Calgary and had my friends band Sparkmarker opening for them. I basically just went to see Sparkmarker but was treated to not only NOFX but Face To Face as well. From that day forward I was a believer. NOFX toss outs are better than a lot of punk bands actual tried and true albums. Although 45 or 46 songs doesn’t quite hold together as an album it does provide fans a way to get all the impossible to find and in some cases never even released songs. Even with short punk songs, there is no way that they could fit them all on one disc so we get this comp on 2. The second disc includes the rare Fuck the Kids and Surfer 7 inches in their entirety (first time on CD) which makes this a totally worthwhile purchase. Check it out. If your not a fan, jump in somewhere around 2 Heebs.
