All we need is another Scottish punk band with that spunked up scotch anger (check out “Whiskey, Scotch Whiskey�). Well that’s just what Vancouver, B.C.’s Real McKenzies want you feel and they won’t do anything to downplay that image. I have heard their sound described as the Sex Pistols meet Scottish folk legend Robbie Burns, which is the most accurate yet. And your worst fears have come true: there are bagpipes throughout the entire album. Don’t put the McKenzies down or else they’ll end up shoving their bagpipes up your ass. These Scottish Canadians have much attitude and aren’t afraid to start throwing their elbows around. If you ever have the chance to go see the McKenzies do so; they perform in full Scottish uniforms and provide for a high kicking show.
