RecommendSome called them new wave but everything about the Rezillos screamed a punk lifestyle. For their short incarnation they released their 1978 debut LP Can't Stand the Rezillos and had a hit with "Top Of The Pops". Shortly after the band suffered internal problems and later that same year they folded. The main players, vocalists Eugene Reynolds and Fay Fife, reformed as the Revillos to continue their reign on the punk world. Unfortunately they never saw a hit again. This album, reissued by Sire in 1993, contains the entire debut album as well as a live album and a couple single only releases. So if you are the least bit interested you will be able to own the entire Rezillos repetoire on one disc. My favorite has always been "Somebody's going to get their head kicked in tonight". Good party tune.
