If you have never heard of Samiam then you can just go away. This review is only for the diehard fans that have stuck through the tough times and weathered all the ups and downs of this definitive punk band. Now that I have your undivided attention o' devoted Samiam fan we can get to business and leave out all the wannabes. Samiam, as you know, are not about selling large quantities of album. They are about pleasing their dedicated fanbase putting some of the best "emo" punk has ever heard. Hearing vocalist Jason Beebout put all his heart into tracks like "Caloused" one can only feel for the tough times the band has seen through the years. We can't really hold the band liable for it's brief major label stint when they can still put together an album of this calibre on an indie label. But don't tell anyone, let's keep this our little secret and Samiam and all their glorious sounds might last forever. I almost forgot - they pay homage to the Doughboys. Too cool!
