If you like your punk to be infectiously catchy look no further than New Jersey's Saves the Day. Not only the lyrics stick into your head but the sugary guitar riffs too. Not since Samiam has anyone tapped this genre so successfully (in the creative sense anyway). Although they're just kids they have a very mature songwriting style and even more so when it comes to presenting the tracks. There is much emotion in these songs about relationships but they are still delivered with power and attitude. The band have an ear for the infectious sound that they play so well. Saves the Day has a nice future ahead of them if they keep creating catchy tracks like those on Through Being Cool.

...yeah that "nice future" you speak of never really happened. LOLZ. Like 4 albums later, they're still bordering the kind of fan base thats kind of ashamed to like them. But, the songs are good - and every album since is really different (prolly b/c it's a different line up every time).
