If you are familiar with Grade you will recognize the name Brad Casarin and Kent Abott. They put time into that band before it’s downfall a couple of years ago. They were left contemplating where to go from there and they decided to rejoin Mike Casarin (Brad’s brother) and Drew Clark who had been playing as Somehow Hollow for a few years (even with Brad and Kent). With renewed invigoration and determination, these guys sat down and wrote some killer new punk tracks that rival that of the influential Grade. They are a tight band that really knows how to interact with one another, making seamless transitions and fine details seem so natural. Somehow Hollow sings a melodic punk rock much like that of Saves The Day only not as sappy. These guys are seasoned professionals and Busted Wings really shows that with it’s polished feel. This Burlington, Ontario quartet is bound to make some waves in this New Year with one of Victory records strongest releases to date.
