The American Werewolves first release entitled We Won't Stay Dead looks like the typical horror punk that enjoyed brief popularity in the 80's with big thanks to The Misfits. But you NEED to take a closer look.
This album changes from 50’s doo-wop to violent, blood-curdling punk before you can blink. And the lyrical content sounds like it would be perfectly at home on a Vincent Price movie. Songs like, " Destroy All Monster's" and the title track "We Won't Stay Dead" are perfect examples of the talent of singer Trevor Moment. He sings these songs with passion ladies and gentlemen. This album is as listenable as it is dark and creepy. If you are a fan of The Misfits, but find yourself dissapointed at the recent efforts, this album is better, tighter, faster and a 100 times more aggressive than The Misfits have been in the last 15 years. Every part, every chord, and every note is played with such heart that it is disturbing. Get ready, because tonight, it's gonna be a monster movie.
