If you are like me, a Teen Idols virgin, you won't be ready for the cool retro styled punk that the band plays. They come from Nashville and were fed up with the country twang flavour that is abundant there. Their style is more of a Ramones style punk, rebel rock, throw in some female back up vocals, and beef it up a bit in order to be relevant and you might have an idea of what Teen Idols are all about. On second thought why don't you just go to your local cool record store and ask to have a listen. If you look at any pics of them you would swear that the band had found a time machine and jumped forward 35 years. Don't think that their sound is dated either because as much as they take from styles in the past they have a place in the punk scene here and now. Excuse me while I order their entire back-catalog...
