I'm not sure how to describe this band, though my first thought was pop-punk. There are significant elements of punk, emo and at times even indie. Whatever it is, it works. And I will say this... this band has balls. The lyrics are brutally honest and are sung with such conviction that you can’t help but notice that this band has something to say.
I felt that this was a worthy release from a talented band. But there are a few weak points on the album, because at times the songs seem very generic like they were thrown in just to take up space. The songs are extremely catchy, but really don’t sound like radio material, which is a very good thing. And I found myself humming the songs long after I had hit the off button.
