Thursday is Victory's newest signing and bound to gain exposure for the independent punk / hardcore label. Some may peg Thursday as just another emo band but before you run away you must give Thursday a chance to explain. Thursday's sound is so refreshing in the hardcore emo arena that people are just reaching for some pigeon hole to class them. You can call part of Full Collapse "Utterly Beautiful" and in the next breath state that "Thursday is abrasive". "How can this be?" you ask. Well, Geoff Rickly's voice is the key here. He is able to lull you over to his side and then clober you silly with an immediate change. I know this isn't unheard of in this genre but you have to hear Geoff's vocals to understand what I am talking about. For being around such a short time, Thursday are already crafting the types of songs that only sincere experienced bands can. Watch for Thursday to win over a legion of new fans with this brilliant album.

this is definitely vault worthy even though it personally lost some of that edge over the years

Good point. I'll make the change to "vault" on my review. Sinst3r, check out this album. Thursday have been kinda hit and miss after Full Collapse but I'm really liking their new album too.

Easily the best album of 2003, and for years to come. Not yet have I heard an album that could quite possibly live up to Full Colapse. The CD is simply magnificent. The vocals, lyrics, and instruments are so well put together to create a beautiful symphony for you to hear. Victory Records usually does a good job on producing albums and selling them, but they really got the job done with Thursdays Full Collapse. The musical styles change up so much, from songs like 'standing on the edge of summer' to 'i am the killer'. I was proud of this album, and i still am. I think Thursday changed the way of music with this release. I say good job to these guys, and keep up with the good work

Passion: Thursday's success thrives off of this. Their emotions are almost tangible in every song off of "Full Collapse," as Geoff's soothing voice sings over winding guitars and resounding screams. Though their musical capibilities seem limited in this album, they show outstanding potential for further releases--introducing a sound that innumerable bands would emulate in future years.
