Adema - Adema
Although Adema comes off a bit contrived and stereotypical in the hard rock / metal world they still deserve some space in MusicEmissions.com. The band was put together by Jonathan “Korn Davis’ younger half brother, Mark Chavez and kind of follows Korn’s lead although not near as heavy. Think of Adema as a Korn for the masses. I don’t know if it was Chavez’s relation to Davis that spawned the label bidding war for Adema but either way they ended up on Arista for their debut. The lyrics on Adema are a bit retrospective focusing on personal addictions and in the end, positive thinking. Chavez wants to reach out to kids that may be a bit different but in one way or another are all connected. If radio gets a hold of Adema they could end up fairly successful. Check them out before you’re force fed Adema on commercial radio.
