Tayo - Fabriclive.32
Before I received this edition of FabricLive I had no idea who Tayo was. I probably should have but I do live in Calgary so a little sheltered from the fine clubs of London. Regardless, I blindly put this on and have been treated to probably the best album of the FabricLive series so far. The beats that Tayo throws down are dance-able even for those who don't dance. The tracks that this DJ uses are sick and I'm saying that with hearing most of these for the first time.
I'll try and describe the vibe, it almost has dub feel going throughout the album, might call it two-step or garage but it doesn't quite fit that description. Really good beats that keep your head bobbing and feet tapping. The second track almost sums up the whole set: it is "Step Back (Deekline Remix)" from Ursula 1000. It just has some great bass beats that force you into the rhythm.
So just allow Tayo to take you on his 1 hour + trip and you will get a treat of lovely bass beats that sooth the soul.
