RecommendAgent Orange was one the front running skate band in the 1980's. They weren't so much punk as the were spooky. Guitarist/vocalist Mike Palm has a voice that could have easily fit into any of the New Wave band of the time. He chose to meld surf guitar, heavy metal, and punk to come up with a new feel for the time. The slap bass feel that James Levesque manages to evoke and all the effects just lead to a horror ladened pop sound. This Is The Voice was what most perceive as their pinnacle album as they took an extended hiatus after this album. You will find a lot of Agent Orange music featured in old skate videos like Bones Brigade. They were one of the first bands to have their own skate decks too.
