RecommendIf I wasn’t from Rhode Island, I’d say that Load is the label with the mostest, and you’d believe me because I wouldn’t be tainted by bias. But it is true in any event that Load is the home of a motherlode of noisy risk-takers, in this case HeteroSkeleton. They mix their noise with odd tempo shifts, ghostly voice clips, Latin horns, and deadly percussion. Yet another band from Finland that sees the world as dark and ludicrous place, and isn’t about to go quietly into that bad night. Unlike most of their countrymen, who rage against the insane with comic metal trappings, HeteroSkeleton go for the throat without anything but the noise, which makes them more frightening and vital.
