         The Sleeping is part of the Long Island band scene. These guys got more and more attention around last year with the release of Questions & Answers. Trust me, I have seen these guys live twice inside of a month, they put on quite the show, the way they interact with the fans and the way they get us going makes me love them that much more. Their first album Believe What We Tell You was released in 2004 and re-released early 2007 under Victory Records. But I’m here to talk about one of my favorite albums, Questions & Answers. Track one gets you going the right way with Don’t Hold Back, then eventually flows into their tribute to the late John “Beatz” Holohan of Bayside, Heart Beatz, clever if you ask me. The lyrics in the chorus are probably some of the best I’ve ever heard, “Taken, taken away screaming, don’t go, don’t, you know you’re needed here with us”, are just some of the outstanding lyrics.  


     The Sleeping’s Questions & Answers, was probably one of the first albums that I really listened to the lyrics, and I understood them, like in Better Than Anything Else, a very notable track, Dearest Mistake, and Loud And Clear. A very energetic track featured on the album is The Climb, which is definitely a highlight of any Sleeping show. The song King of Hearts is also incredible, it ties the two of their albums together, for me it makes the album perfect. I’m pretty excited to see what these guys can pump out in the future.
