This five song EP showcases the band’s ability to mix noise and drone with Eastern influences to create, well, and Eastern influenced noise/drone. Synths and distorted guitars weave in and out of Indian-percussion sounds to create one monster of a meditative roar. "Bind Them" and "Electricity and Air" are the highlights, where the growling vocals and burst of atonal rage soften on occasion to a hissing drone, and then back to full power. There are even some drums here and there, if you listen. Religious Knives are smart, and angry, and they use their understanding of drone, raga, Psych and noise to create monster sounds. They’ve created a world that is busy and daunting, but real and new.
