So, how is it?
If music is your thing--and just the music, no vocals, no lyrics--if that is your thing. Jump on top of this now because these have to be some of the most amazing instrumentals I've heard in a while. It really isn't what you are expecting when you first recieve the album.
So how does it sound?
It sounds aliens are landing ships in your backyard, setting up a stage, and totally changing you. The crazy synth reminds you oddly of Eiffel 65 ("I'm blue dadadeedadadye") or maybe I just have issues. Songs like "Drove Through The Ghosts to Get Here" have you tapping your foot and doing the robot like you are right out of EuroTrip, minus the kicking in the robot balls It sounds like someone smashed their head into a keyboard and regurgitated out Linkin Park but added a lot of talent.
