RecommendMarried duo Christine Boepple and Loren Chasse blend drone and weird folk into an almost joyful buzz that helps this set fill in the gaps of its own silences with hope for something better. Nine ambient tracks never went by so fast, and even if some straddle the ponderous line–hear "Bone of the Bone Scholar/Moon of the Moon scholar" or "Soul of Swan"–better representative of the tonic they provide to the tired and maybe jaded listener are tracks like the shining "Ghost of the Future" or "Arms of the Mountain." Ov smell like victory.
