Amen! Channing Lewis and company remind us once again and there is a difference between smart and smart-ass, and that one can be funny as hell and dead serious at the same time. Recorded live and raw in the studio, this record gives off the funk of a band with soul and heart, two dangerous weapons for those with brains and wit to help gas the grill.

While this rocks like "Tim" and rolls like "Crow Pot Pie," the genius is in the touches like the persistent piano, the well-placed strings, the best harmonies you’ll hear for awhile. "To The Ideas" signals the band’s intent, lyrically and sonically, but any track here is bound to make you wake up happy tomorrow, and not only happy, but armed. Listen to the beautiful "Wounded Eye" and just try prove me wrong about this record’s staying power.
