Chris Thomas King has finally found a home. After label jumping for years, going from small time to smaller time, his talents were never really consumed by as many people as they should be. Me, My Guitar and the Blues has Chris reaching into his trick bag and pulling out an array of musical treats (except his soul attempts, "Stay just as you are" and "You are my heaven"). The tracks are all King originals except Booker T's "born under a bad sign" and Robert Johnson's classic "Stone in my passway" which Chris does an amazing acoustic version of. As if that wasn't enough, King plays every single instrument you hear on the album. Be sure to hear "Cain in which King successfully incorporates rap elements in his bluesThis guy has talent oozing out of his every pore and now we just have to convince him to stay away from the soul music and stick to the blues.
