Ask and you shall receive... Hailing from the Baltimore, Maryland region of the U.S. is JParis.  In 2005 they released Call it what you want... and it wound up in my hands.  I've never been a fan of the power slop punk that has made bands like Good Charlotte popular, and I'm tempted to call this something alright...

Simple chords, and a unerving ability to sound exactly like every bad pop punk band that was theorhetically ignored a few years back, this album is far too late for stardom.  I think I'll save more time telling you about the few tracks that I didn't completely lose my lunch on rather than the majority of the disc, which was lacking in unique song writing.  Wait... I'm not so sure I can do that either.

There's really not much here....The Ordinary starts off seemingly alright, but thats because the intro chord was a ripped off Nirvana bar.  But interestingly enough the track switches gears and they do manage to sound a bit like Motley Crue as they like to self-appoint on their site.  She was dead does have a similiar verse chord and sound similiar to Guns N Roses (once again self appointed similiarity), in between the traditional Pop Punk writing.  It does make for an interesting ride.

Look, I realize I'm the wrong kind of listener to be doing this review, but I just couldn't find anything interesting about this disc.  Sure the rhythm was upbeat at all times, but that simply does not take away from the simplicity of sounding like every band that ever came froma  genre that died four years ago.  With that being said... Should these guys ever find their own identity, I'll gladly eat crow, till then... I'm calling it, BLEH!!!!
