Its a long way back from hell, and you will love every single rib cracking second of it! Danzig II... Its like those very very VERY few movies that have been made and for some strange reason, the planets align and the sequel turns out to be just as good as the original. Never has an artist follow up to their debut album been more in tune and on the same level as Danzig II. It sounds like the first two could of simply been a double disc release. They mesh better than any of his later work. I love every single album this side burn wearing motha has put out. But no one can deny fan or not, that Danzig I and II are meant to be played back to back and on 11 baby! Pounding riffs, deep lyrics, and the type of attitude that screams pure, bullshit free rock and fuckin roll. Danzig has a large supply of songs in his head, and these just happen to be the first dozen or so with his first album. So I would never put this album over one of his other works. But something about that early ball crushing ass kicking power of early Danzig can not be overlooked! Hell yeah, Danzig II, play it loud or don't play it at all....
