Refreshing!
That's what Mindy Misty with Protoplasm. Raw vocals are the new black and they pull them off well. Songs cling to that indie originality more stunningly than most bands and the pure rawness is so vividly reminiscent, that if this band had keyboards, confusion could be possible, even though Minus the Bear has the hardcore break intermingled with any of their jams
It stands out?
It's kind of like being stuck in a group of blonde haired people and being the sole person with your blonde hair spiked. You fit in oddly, there is just something different about you that makes you unique ("Dead End" is a prime example).
