Didn't think this album was worthy of a full review. If you didn't know The Aliens are the new Beta Band. Minus a member or two. Astronomy for Dogs is more or less a jam album. You can tell that the band could easily extend any of these songs. Have a listen to "I Am The Unknown" for a key example. There is nothing as instantly catchy as anything the Beta Band did. Instead the Aliens opt for cruising with some great harmonies and such. This is fine but really not memorable. I might stick to finishing your Beta Band collection, where all albums are bloody amazing!
