I don't think Death In Vegas gets enough recognition. Their brand of "electronica" is so very original in the fact that they actually use real instruments before layering with all their interesting loops and programming. The Contino Sessions (named after their studio) expands on what Richard Fearless was striving for on their debut. This is more of a rock album ala Primal Scream (as of late). Speaking of Primal Scream, Bobby Gillespie adds vocals to the track "Soul Auctioneer". Iggy Pop also lends a hand on the interesting "Aisha". Jim Reid (Jesus and Mary Chain) contributes to "Broken little sister". Fearless has found a new partner for the project as well, namely Tim Holmes, who plays keyboards and helps with the production. Richard Fearless is on to something here now only if people would notice.
